Daniel werner, legal fellow

Daniel began his work with Dolores Street Community Services during law school as an intern and returned to the organization in his current role in September of 2018. He grew up in San Francisco and began working in immigrant communities in the Bay Area in 2012, including as a legal worker in immigration programs at Canal Alliance in San Rafael and Catholic Charities of the East Bay in Richmond. Daniel continued his work with immigrant communities as a recipient of a Public Service Scholarship at UC Irvine School of Law, where he participated in the school’s Immigrant Rights Clinic.

Daniel speaks English and Spanish. Daniel is licensed to practice law in California, as well as before immigration courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals nationwide.
